POST 9157 CULTURE
The Purple Heart Pub is proud to be associated with The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. The VFW is a nonprofit veterans service organization comprised of combat veterans and military service members from the active guard and reserve forces.
Our History
Post 9157 was chartered in 1948. It comprised of some of Black Mountain's most influencial leaders of that time, including Black Mountain's longest tenured Mayor, XXX. Since 195X, the post has called our current location home. Today's members are proud to call Post 9157 home and we strive to make this as friendly and welcoming an environment as possible as we focus our efforts to become more involved with the community and bring in new members.
